Samantha is one of the star heroines in the Telugu film industry. The actress recently wrapped up the shoot for Shakuntalam and is working on another exciting film now. Going by the buzz, she signed a female-oriented film with a new director.

As per the latest reports in the film nagar, Samantha is actively looking at doing more films in the comedy genre. The actress is happy that she could be able to touch the comedy genre in the successful Telugu film Oh Baby. The actress even won an award at the SIIMA awards event recently.

Samantha also gave an interview recently where she mentioned that she wants to do an out-and-out comedy entertainer that will be a break from the regular message-oriented films that are made on a serious mode.

We have to see if someone brings in a comedy entertainer script that satisfied her craving!
