Telangana government gives clarity on Theatre Issues

Telangana Cinematography Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav has finally announced that the government is not planning to place restrictions on the number of shows and will also not reduce the theatre occupancy in the wake of the Omicron threat.

 

“The government has been following all necessary steps to reduce the threat from the Omicron variant and we don't have to lose sleep worrying over it,” said Talasani.

 

Recently, some Tollywood celebrities including Dil Raju, Sunil Narang, Danayya, Rajamouli, DVV Danayya, S Radha Krishna, Trivikram, Abhishek Nama, and Yerneni Naveen met Talasani regarding the theatres and the occupancies. After discussing with them, Talasani promised that the state government will always be there to support the film industry.

 

"The Telugu film industry has suffered huge losses due to Corona and the success of ‘Akhanda’ is a huge relief. More films like Pushpa, RRR, Bheemla Nayak, and Acharya are already in the pipeline to help the industry get out of the current situation.
