Akkineni Naga Chaitanya and Samantha divorced last year and the announcement has shocked everyone in the Telugu film industry. The fans of the duo could not take the fact that the duo is parted ways now. Samantha has made her opinion clear many times after the divorce but the first time, Chay spoke on the same during the promotions of his next film Bangarraju.

During the promotions of Bangarraju, Naga Chaitanya mentioned that the decision to get a divorce is taken mutually. "Divorce is something taken in the best interest of both of us. If she is happy with it, I’m also happy," shared the actor, with a smile.

It is clear that Naga Chaitanya has come out of that phase and focuses more about his life and career.

Bangarraju is releasing tomorrow. Nagarjuna, Ramya Krishna, Krithi Shetty, and others are a part of the film. Directed by Kalyan Krishna, the film is the sequel of Soggade Chinni Nayana.
