Pushpa: The Rise is the first part of the successful franchise Pushpa. The film will have a sequel titled Pushpa: The Rule. Director Sukumar locked the script already, but he is still working on it to make improvements as the first part has become a big hit at the box office.

The buzz is that Sukumar is bringing a lot of young directors and writers on board to make a few things better in the script. After taking their inputs, he is working with his team in shaping the script well.

The reports say that Uppena director Buchi Babu Sana is now playing a crucial role in shaping the script of the film's second part well.
