'Adipurush', which is an adaptation of mythical epic-tale 'Ramayanam', is one of the high-budgeted film & most anticipated film across the country. After a huge disappointment of 'Radhe Shyam', all Prabhas fans were banking on this film and were eagerly waiting for almost an year for their star.

With the release of the teaser, there seemed to be very contrast reaction from all sections of audience. The team also announced that Sharad Kelkar, who dubbed for Prabhas in 'Baahubali', shall be returning again for this film. Although, 'Baahubali' was magnanimous hit across the country, the makers hired a different artist in his next project. And it didn't turnout to be as expected and even fans were firing on the makers for their poor choice. Clearing the air, the team made an official statement regarding this, which has been appreciated by the fans.

Directed by Om Raut, the movie is slated to have a wide release on January 12 in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. The film is also presented in 3D and IMAX.
