Tamil hero Karthi is testing his luck today with the new release Sardar. The film is billed to be a spy thriller and the actor pinned big hopes in the film. Now, during the promotions of the film, the actor also opened up on the sequel to his prestigious project Kaidhi.

Kaidhi is the dubbed version of the Tamil super hit film Khaithi. The film's sequel is in the offing for quite some time and ever since Kamal Haasan's Vikram has become a hit, there is a demand for the sequel immediately.

When questioned the same, Karthi has given a clarity that the shoot of the sequel will begin next year, at any cost. Karthi also confirmed that the film will come out well and impress everyone like it did in the first part.
