BJP is in master plans to enhance the popularity of the party in the South. As a part of it, it is leaving no stone unturned. Honestly speaking, in the South, BJP has strong roots nowhere except in Karnataka.

BJP, after smelling a chance in one of the Telugu states - Telangana, now shifted its concentration to Tamil Nadu. Amidst this, the interesting buzz is that BJP is in plans to send Tamil Super Star Rajinikanth as Governor of some states so as to impress the fans of the actor.

As the craze of Rajinikanth is stupendous in Tamil Nadu, making him Governor would increase the popularity of the BJP party over there, the party leadership believes.

However, the plan seemed to be called off. Rajinikanth took a firm decision that he will dedicate all his time to cinema and he does not want to be active in politics. Rajinikanth has made it clear to the sources close to him who are mediating.

For the unversed, Rajinikanth who always had political ambitions, wanted to establish a political party but he called it off.
