The makers confirmed that more than 1 million tickets were sold in Karnataka state alone, which is definitely a good move. The film has crossed the 300 Cr mark at the box office.

Kantara is the second highest grossing film in Karnataka state. The film also earned more than $2 million in the USA. Directed by Rishab Shetty, the movie has all the required elements that could make a film a big hit at the box office.

There are reports that the film will have a sequel.
