Continuing its incredible winning spree, MM Keeravani composed Telugu mass song “Naatu Naatu” makes it to the final list of nominations for the 95th Academy Awards which was announced today. This is the first time an Indian song has been nominated in this category for Oscars.

SS Rajamouli directed “RRR” starring Telugu superstars Jr.NTR and Ram Charan Tej has shaken the world with its bromance and tappy music.

As such, MM Keeravani won the Critics Choice Award and also the Golden Globe Award for Naatu Naatu. Since then, the Indians had high hopes that it would make it to the Oscars as well and the anticipations have come true. Sung by Rahul Sipligunj and Kala Bhairava and written by Chandrabose, “Naatu Naatu” is a song about the “mass” beats of a Telugu land.

Now the Telugu flag is flying high in Los Angeles. But alas, “RRR” couldn’t make it to any other category including the “Best Picture” and the “Best Director” which is disappointing to Indians as it was quite anticipated that the film would be nominated in either of the categories.

The Oscars are going to be held on 13th of March 2023 and this amazingly choreographed tappy number is a hot favourite for the award this year.
