Dhanush recently came up with his milestone film Raayan, which was released on Friday. The Tamil action drama earned ₹43.01 crore net during its three-day run in theatres.

According to film industry trackers, the action thriller saw a 13.53 percent increase in its collection on Sunday, significantly improving its box office performance compared to Saturday when it earned ₹13.75 crore net.

On its third day in theatres, the film collected ₹15.61 crore, surpassing the release-day earnings of ₹13.65 crore net.

Produced under the banner of Sun Pictures, the film grossed ₹46.75 crore worldwide, with ₹15.25 crore coming from the overseas market and ₹31.5 crore from the domestic market. On Sunday, the film had an overall Tamil occupancy of 67.31 percent, say the reports.

The film features a star-studded cast including S J Suryah, Sundeep Kishan, Prakash Raj, Dushara Vijayan, Aparna Balamurali, Selvaraghavan, and Kalidas Jayaram, with Dhanush in the lead role.

In addition to its original Tamil version, the film was also dubbed and released in Telugu and Hindi.
