Tatva is a new film that was released today on the OTT platform ETV Win. It is an exciting action thriller with many layers. Directed by newcomer Ruthvik Yelagari, who has done a phenomenal job, the web film is getting attention from all corners of the film industry, including film buffs.
The film revolves around Arif, a taxi driver in desperate need of money, with no one to turn to for help. One fateful night, a passenger named Thomas gets into Arif's cab, and Arif realizes Thomas has the cash he urgently needs. From that moment, the real story begins. Who is Thomas, and how far is Arif willing to go to get the money? The twists unfold as Arif finds himself in front of the police, accused of a crime.
Hima Dasari effortlessly plays the main character, Arif. Usman Gani portrays Thomas. Pooja Reddy, another fresh face, plays a police officer and does a great job, too. Sowmya Sharma, who is the voice of Anushka Shetty, has voice-acted for Pooja Reddy.
On the performance side, director Ruthvik successfully brings out the best in everyone. Director Rutvik Yelagari, making his debut, tells a story set entirely throughout one night. From a technical standpoint, Tatva shines. Cinematographer C.H. Sai, currently working for Sivakarthikeyan-Sai Pallavi-Kamal Haasan's Amaran, does a fantastic job, especially considering the film mostly occurs at night. The background score by Sai Teja complements the tension, enhancing key moments in the film.
Director Rutvik earlier worked as Sujeeth's associate for the prestigious Saaho, which starred Prabhas in the lead role. Ruthvik manages to tell the story he sets out to tell, effectively conveying the core philosophy of the film.
Overall, Tatva is a well-crafted thriller that combines suspense, moral dilemmas, and strong performances in a tight runtime. Watch it on ETV Win.
