This Diwali weekend brought four promising films to the box office, each bringing unique appeal and performances. Among them, two are straight Telugu releases while the other two are dubbing films.

1. Lucky Bhaskar: With Dulquer Salmaan in the lead, Lucky Bhaskar has taken the best start among the new releases. Opening to favorable reviews and posting an impressive Rs 12+ crore gross on day one, this film looks set to maintain momentum through the weekend.

2. KA: Kiran Abbavaram’s Ka is receiving better reviews than his previous outings, contributing to a moderate opening. Positive word of mouth could help it sustain a steady performance, particularly over the extended weekend. The film reportedly grossed over 6 crores on the release day.

3. Amaran: Starring Sivakarthikeyan, Amaran has opened strongly in Tamil Nadu, though the Telugu response has been more gradual. Good reviews and favorable feedback could help this film pick up pace in Telugu regions as well. The film reportedly grossed more than 30 crores in two days, including the Tamil version.

Kannada film Bhageera was also dubbed to Telugu.
