Kantara is one of the biggest pan-India hits in Indian cinema. Released in 2022, this movie created a storm across the country. Made with around 16 crores, it went on to collect more than 300 crores at the box office. After the success of the film, actor-director Rishab Shetty announced its prequel, Kantara Chapter 1. The film is currently in the production stage.

According to the latest reports, the makers of this film have signed up international stunt choreographer, Todor Lazarov, to compose an action sequence in the movie. He earlier worked on movies like Troy, Hellboy and The Contract. He also composed the introduction fight sequence of Ram Charan in the 2022 blockbuster RRR.

Todor's inclusion is now raising expectations on the action choreography of Kantara. Produced by Hombale Films, Kantara Chapter 1 features Jisshu Sengupta in another key role. It is slated for a 2025 release. Ajneesh Loknath is composing the music for this movie.
