Oscar award winning music composer AR Rahman and his wife, Saira, have decided to part ways after many years of marriage. Saira Bhanu released a statement to the media confirming the separation. The statement is going viral on social media now.

After many years of marriage, Mrs. Saira has made the difficult decision to separate from her husband, Mr. AR Rahman. This decision follows significant emotional strain in their relationship. Although they share a deep love for one another, the couple has found that the challenges and strains they have faced have created an unbridgeable gap. Mrs. Saira expressed that this step has been taken with immense pain and distress. She asks for privacy and understanding from the public during this challenging period as she navigates this chapter in her life,” the statement read, which was released by her lawyer.

Rahman and Saira, who married in 1995, share three children: Khatija, Raheema, and Ameen.
