Chikkadapalli police have arrested icon star Allu Arjun in the Sandhya theatre stampede incident. A woman named Revathi died in the stampede. On Friday, the police arrested Allu Arjun and have not clarified if it is an arrest or a formality to question him.
However, a case has been registered under Section 105 of the BNS Act, which is a case of causing death by negligence and 118(1) of the non-bailable sections. In such cases, if the crime is proven, imprisonment for a term ranging from five to a maximum of ten years is possible.
A case has been registered against Allu Arjun and the theater management at the Chikkadapalli police station over this incident. As of now, the investigation is currently underway and the further details on the same will be out soon.
