The Sandhya Theatre stampede issue is intensifying, with Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy strongly criticizing the Telugu film industry during an Assembly session. The CM expressed outrage over the lack of empathy shown toward the victims of the tragic incident, directly targeting actor Allu Arjun and the film industry.
Revanth Reddy questioned, "Did Allu Arjun lose a kidney, leg, or an eye? What was the need for celebrities to rush to his residence to show solidarity? Did anyone care about the injured boy or visit him in the hospital? Did any celebrity even acknowledge Sri Tej's condition?"
The Chief Minister made serious allegations, stating that despite police advice against visiting the theatre, Allu Arjun attended the premiere show, which led to overcrowding and a stampede.
Revanth Reddy further alleged that Allu Arjun ignored police warnings about the gravity of the situation and remained inside the theatre. He claimed that the actor left only after being threatened with arrest, but even then,*"he stood on the car's rooftop, waving to the crowd."
