Global star Ram Charan’s much-anticipated film Game Changer hit theaters yesterday. While Ram Charan's performance garnered universal acclaim for its intensity and versatility, the film itself fell short of meeting everyone’s expectations. Despite this, Game Changer opened to a phenomenal start at the global box office, grossing over ₹186 crore on its first day.
The makers took to social media to announce the impressive figures. Sharing the update on X, the producers wrote, "King-size entertainment unleashes in theatres. Game Changer takes a blockbuster opening at the BOX OFFICE. Blockbuster Game Changer GROSSES 186 CRORES WORLDWIDE on Day 1."
Directed by Shankar, the film faced criticism for its outdated narrative style and screenplay design, which many felt lacked the freshness expected from a project of this scale.
The supporting cast also received praise, with SJ Suryah’s standout performance being a major highlight. Kiara Advani played the female lead, bringing charm and depth to her role. Dil Raju is the film's producer.
