This weekend presents a unique mix of cinematic experiences for the Telugu audience, with three vastly different films hitting the big screens. The much-anticipated Thandel is the film carrying a big buzz. Naga Chaitanya played the lead role in the film and Sai Pallavi plays the heroine.

The film got permission to hike the prices of tickets in Andhra Pradesh, but there is no change in the price hike in Telangana. The film's box office success will largely depend on word of mouth. While Thandel boasts good songs, a promising trailer, and a strong lead pair, it needs an early wave of positive reviews to gain momentum.

Meanwhile, Tamil star Ajith Kumar returns with Pattudala (Vidaamuyarchi in Tamil), which is performing decently in the Tamil market but faces an uphill battle in Telugu states.

With minimal pre-release buzz, the film's fate in the Telugu belt hinges entirely on its opening-day response. Adding to the mix is the re-release of Christopher Nolan's Interstellar, a sci-fi masterpiece returning to the big screen.
