Mythri Movie Makers, a leading Pan-India production house, is all set to bring Kollywood icon Ajith Kumar back to Telugu cinema with their much-anticipated multi-lingual project, Good Bad Ugly. Gulshan Kumar and Bhushan Kumar of T-Series present the movie. Directed by Adhik Ravichandran, this high-profile film has already generated buzz. The film’s Tamil teaser was released yesterday, and the response is overwhelming with 30 M+ views. Meanwhile, the Telugu teaser was dropped.
The teaser introduces Ajith in a role unlike any he’s played before—raw, fierce, and morally complex. His character, AK, is a ruthless figure referred to ominously as the ‘red dragon,’ sending chills down the spine as the visuals hint at a deadly and violent world. The intensity starts with a thug warning his companion about entering AK’s territory—no one walks away unscathed.
One of the most striking lines in the teaser sums up the essence of the film: “No matter how good you are, the world will force you to go bad.” This line sets the tone for what is sure to be an action-packed narrative, showing that no matter how much AK may struggle with his morality, the forces around him push him into a darker, more dangerous world. The teaser’s combination of gripping visuals and powerful dialogues has already struck a chord with Ajith's fans, hinting at a character who will pull them in with his layered persona.
The cinematography by Abinandhan Ramanujam is stunning, beautifully capturing the gritty intensity of the story, while GV Prakash Kumar’s vivacious score builds suspense and adds to the overall atmosphere. Fans are also treated to multiple looks of Ajith—ranging from a suave younger version to a more seasoned, charismatic figure with undeniable style. These diverse portrayals promise to showcase the many shades of his character, making his role even more intriguing.
The film’s stellar cast includes Trisha Krishnan in the lead female role, with supporting performances from Arjun Das, Prasanna, Sunil, and Prabhu.
Fans are already looking forward to the grand cinematic experience that Good Bad Ugly promises, with its explosive action sequences, intense character moments, and a high-octane energy that only Ajith can bring to the screen.
Produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar, Good Bad Ugly promises to be a landmark film in Indian cinema. The editing is managed by Vijay Velukutty, while G M Sekhar oversees the production design.
With the teaser setting the bar high, the movie is set for release in the summer on April 10th.
