The Telangana Police have been taking strict action against celebrities who were promoting betting apps through ads or social media. For the last few days, we have seen case books against various celebrities who were promoting these apps.

In the latest development, Miyapur police registered an FIR against prominent celebrities like Vijay Deverakonda, Prakash Raj, Rana Daggubati and others for promoting betting apps.

As per the reports, Rana and Prakash Raj were booked for promoting junglerummy.com and Vijay Deverakonda was accused of promoting A23 app. Manchu Lakshmi, Pranita and Niddhi Agerwal were booked for promoting yolo247.com, fairplay.live and JeetWin apps respectively.

Other celebrities and social media influencers who were booked for promoting these betting apps include Ananya Nagalla, Siri Hanumanthu, Sreemukhi, Varshini Sounderajan, Vasanthi Krishnan, Shobha Shetty, Amrutha Chowdary, Nayani Pavani, Neha Pathan, Pandu, Padmavathi, Imran Khan, Vishnu Priya, Harsha Sai, Bunny Sunny Yadav, Anchor Shyamala, Tasty Teja, Rithu Chowdary and Suprita.
