In the era where horror comedy films are the norm with many successful projects such as Prema Kadha Chitram, Geethanjali and the recent Ganga Muni 3 making it big, there is one film which is creating more buzz by staying honest to the theme of horror flicks. It is none other than Mayuri starring the talented actress Nayanatara which released yesterday and creating a positive feedback all over.
Now, the film became lucky even in the Television front. Sources say that Mayuri’s satellite rights were acquired for a whooping rate of Rs. 2.5 crores- which is quite commendable for a small budget film of this sort. Despite being a dubbing film and not much star value except the presence of Nayanatara, it is great to see Mayuri making it big commercially!
Let us hope more such films come up with not only deal with a unique idea but also are commercially viable.
