Rarandoi Veduka Chuddam Performances:
Akkineni Naga Chaitanya has changed his thought process and signed a family subject for the first time in his career. This role is certainly a new one for him in his career when compared to what he has played in the past. But Naga Chaitanya who is in the stages of improving his acting skills showed a bit of improvisation in the way he essays a role. In this film, he acted well and made everyone connect to him.
Rakul Preet Singh is seen as Bhramarambha and unlike her previous roles, this one will remain very special for her. Along with the glamour, she impressed with her performance in the film. She looked completely different in the movie.
Senior actors Jagapathi Babu and Sampath Raj has played important roles in the film. Both of them re seen as fathers and they have put their usual best in the regular roles. There are a lot of comic actors in the film like Vennela Kishore, Posani Krishna Murali, Prithviraj, Raghu Babu, Sapthagiri, Thagubothu Ramesh and others who are successful in bringing some good laughs. The senior actors like Chalapathi Rao, Banerjee, Annapurna, Surekha Vani, Anitha Chowdary and Rajitha are good in their roles. All the actors did a good job in the movie.
Rarandoi Veduka Chuddam Analysis:
As Akkineni Nagarjuna always wanted to see his son Naga Chaitanya doing family subjects, Chay finally accepted one in the direction of Kalyan Krishna. The film is like any other regular family entertainer which we have seen in the past in the form of Murari, Ninne Pelladatha and others. Even in this film, Rarandoi there is no proper story angle but the way the director treated the film should be appreciable. Naga Chaitanya and Rakul Preet Singh are a perfect match in the film and the director took the story forward with the characters and their emotions which are an interesting highlight of the movie.
The film reminds us of all the super hit family entertainers and it is mostly because of the huge star cast and a bunch of character artists who come and go on the screen. There is a lot of freshness to the film and it is because of the backdrop that the story was set in. The film unit captured the soul of a village and included it perfectly in their story. When you watch the film, you will feel like watching a real story on the screen. The way Kalyan Krishna executed the film in his own style deserves appreciations.
Naga Chaitanya is brilliant in some scenes especially the beach scene. The Kabaddi fight scene has also come out very well in the movie. The disappointment comes when the director fails to establish the conflict point between the lead actors properly. The conflict between the lead pair is the thread end for the interval point but it was not executed properly. Ammayilu Manashhanti ki Haanikaram concept could have been explained in a much better way than what it was in the movie now. As there is no proper plot in the film, it goes up and down in the first half but the second half is good when compared with the first one.
While the first half of the film is slow and has some loopholes, the second half of the film has come out exceptionally well. The second half of the film is very much entertaining too. The production values maintained by Nagarjuna Akkineni and Supriya on Annapurna Studios are rich. The screenplay by Satyanand is impressive. The music by Devi Sri Prasad is impressive. The cinematography by S.V. Vishweshwar is very nice. The colours on the screen are very bright. Gautham Raju's editing is ok. The director Kalyan Krishna has co-ordinated well with every department.
Positives:
+ Lead Pair Performances
+ Music and BGM
+ Cinematography
+ Fresh Treatment
Negatives:
- Slow Narration
- Ups and Downs in First Half
Music:
Devi Sri Prasad gave wonderful tunes for the movie and every tune has come in a perfect manner. All the songs are good and DSP is successful in giving out a good BGM for the movie.
Others:
The film starts with the voiceover of Nagarjuna and it was very well connected.
Rarandoi Veduka Chuddam Verdict:
Rarandoi Veduka Chuddam is a feel good family entertainer laced with good performances and a package of emotions.
