On one side the entire nation is mourning the sad demise of the political icon Atal Bihari Vajpayee and before that is completed, the entire attention has shifted to the state of Kerala. God’s own country is currently facing the fury of Mother Nature and with heavy casualties and property losses, the entire nation is moving forward to help the state.
The Telugu cine folks are not far behind and already planning is being made to help the victims in all possible manners. Now, the organizers of the prestigious SIIMA (South India International Movie Awards) are preparing for their next edition. This is going to take place during the second week of September and the venue has been locked as Dubai.
Now, the organizers have announced that the ticket collections for this event would be sent to the flood relief measures. This was announced in Siima’s official twitter account like this-
‘Kerala has been struck by a devastating flood that has caused immeasurable wreckage. It has taken lives & destroyed homes of the people. #SIIMA stands with Kerala and its people. #KeralaFloodRelief
‘KERALA needs all the support! Let's come together & do our bit. The Film Industry has never ignored any alarming crisis and this time too we would like to contribute all the ticket revenue at #SIIMA2018 Dubai to #Kerala CM Relief Fund as our part #SIIMAforKERALA
#KeralaFloodRelief’
