The sad part about the law and judiciary in our country is, you may not have done anything wrong but you will end up spending many precious years of your life running around police stations, courts. Few unfortunate souls have also landed up in jail and came out after many years acquitted as innocent.

In reference to that, the celebrities are the softest target because the attention is high and all it takes is one allegation which is going to turn their world upside down. In this process, those around start maintaining distance and isolate that person because they are now suspecting that person. Here is one classic example.

Kavi Perarasu Vairamuthu is the number one lyricist in Kollywood and right now he is facing sexual harassment allegations from singer Chinmayee thanks to the #MeToo mania. He has the highest number of national awards as a lyricist and he also has Padmashri, Padmabhushan titles. If he has to go for next level this allegation will become a black mark and even national awards would be kept away from him.
