The Chief of Jana Sena Party, Pawan Kalyan, has delivered a meeting in Rayalaseema and made some sensational remarks that are directly aimed at current generation Telugu artists. In his meeting with Telugu language scholars, the actor turned politician said 'the proficiency or knowledge on Telugu literature is worsening day-by-day in the film industry.
I don't think they know about Kalidas, Amuktamalyada and our cultures. But, the standard of Telugu cinema is subsided as it's totally filled with cuss words and unacceptable content. Undoubtedly, it is a great amount of damage to have forgotten our mother language'.
The actor turned politician further said cinema writers are unaware of Telugu Shastras and Telugu Paandithyam. Pawan, who is touring Rayalaseema as part of JanaSena Aatmeya Yatra, held this meeting with Telugu scholars to discuss how to conserve our mother language.
