Whenever two projects arrive with the same content, it is natural to have comparisons but this time two projects coming on different platforms are being brought together for comparison. One is ‘Thalaivi’ the multilingual feature film while the other is ‘Queen’ a web series that would be streamed in MX Player.

The common link between both is, they happen to be the biopic of the late Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu and former star heroine, Jayalalithaa. While the film has Bollywood’s curly-haired cutie Kangana Ranaut, the web series has the ravishingly sensuous Ramya Krishnan and this is being helmed by maverick Gautham Menon.

Of course, this is web series and that is a film so the traction would be more for the film because those who have been loyal to AIADMK party of Jaya would be keen to see how their demigod was projected. On the other hand, Gautham’s track record has been faltering so the expectations on the web series would be less.
