Superstar Mahesh Babu's latest film 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata' first look poster released yesterday. Mahesh Babu's new look has received appreciation from the audience. Another surprise from the poster is that the Mahesh-Parasuram team has chosen the in-form SS Thaman as the music director. 

There were several speculations on the probable music directors of 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata'.  Devi Sri Prasad, Gopi Sundar and Thaman were among them. Gopi Sundar is a good choice, he has not delivered chartbuster albums to top league star heroes till now.  It seems they have not voted for him due to this reason. The competition was between DSP and Thaman.  DSP is the top league music director but he is criticized for delivering average music in the recent past.  In the Sankranti race, Thaman gave a chartbuster album to 'Ala Vaikunthapurramloo' but Devi Sri Prasad couldn't show his magic with 'Sarleru Neekevvaru'.  Even the Superstar fans were disappointed with the average stuff. On the other hand, Thaman's music is widely appreciated and it played a key role in the success of the film.

But Thaman's comments on 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' collections irked Mahesh Babu fans. They have even trolled him on social media. Many people thought that Mahesh would not give his nod to Thaman due to his controversial comments. But that didn't happen, they have voted for Thaman who is in top form rather than DSP.
