The global fans of SS Rajamouli's magnum opus RRR are eagerly waiting for the Oscars 2023 nominations, however, the epic period drama has already created a sensation by winning a Japan Academy Award in the Best Foreign Film category.

The award will be presented on March 10, 2023. The movie was aggressively promoted by the RRR trio, Rajamouli, Jr NTR and Ram Charan, when it was released in Japan last year. The movie not only won the award but also became the biggest Indian blockbuster by collecting over 650 million Yen at the Japanese box office.

On the other hand, team RRR is extremely happy with the recognition they are getting from all corners of the world. The team is pumped to be getting ready to go to the USA again.
