Vijay Deverakonda, the popular Indian actor who has gained pan-Indian stardom, has successfully ventured into various businesses such as streetwear fashion line Rowdy, AVD multiplex, and the film production house, King of the Hill Entertainment. Recently, Vijay has become a co-owner of the Hyderabad Black Hawks, one of the country's leading professional volleyball teams, and the sole representative of the Telugu states.

Vijay will also be the brand ambassador for the team, which is co-owned by Abhishek Reddy Kankanala. The Hyderabad Black Hawks will take part in the RuPay Prime Volleyball League, a privately-owned Indian professional volleyball league with eight teams from Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Calicut, Kochi, Chennai, Bengaluru, and Mumbai. The second season of the league will take place from February 4th to March 4th, 2023.
