The tragic incident at Sandhya Theatre on December 4, which led to the untimely death of Revathi during a screening of Pushpa 2: The Rule, has left everyone shaken. On behalf of Team Pushpa, Icon star Allu Arjun expressed deep sorrow over the incident and announced a donation of ₹25 lakh to the bereaved family.

In a heartfelt statement shared via a video on social media, Allu Arjun said, "Deeply heartbroken by the tragic incident at Sandhya Theatre. My heartfelt condolences go out to the grieving family during this unimaginably difficult time. I want to assure them they are not alone in this pain and will meet the family personally. While respecting their need for space to grieve, I stand committed to extend every possible assistance to help them navigate through this challenging journey."

In the video, Allu Arjun said, "For the last 25 years, it has been a tradition for us to watch the film in the main theatre. Upon learning the news, we were shocked and not in the mood to participate in the Pushpa celebrations."

"I would like to donate ₹25 lakh to the family to secure their future. Additionally, Team Pushpa will take care of the medical expenses incurred," Allu Arjun added.
