After a poor box office performance, Suriya’s Kanguva will soon premiere on OTT. The movie was released in theaters on November 14 with high expectations because of its huge budget. However, it didn’t meet those expectations and received negative reviews.

Kanguva will be streaming on Amazon Prime Video starting December 12, just a month after its theatrical release. Some reports had said it would be released on December 13, but now there’s speculation it may come out a day earlier. Prime Video has acquired the film's digital rights for a large sum.

The movie is a period-action fantasy starring Bobby Deol as the villain. It was made on a huge budget of Rs. 350 crores, but it failed to recover its costs.

Kanguva also has a second part, but it’s unclear if it will be made. The complete details of the same are expected to be out soon.
