Pushpa 2 Effect: Telangana Minister Puts An End To Benefit Shows

A tragic stampede occurred during the Pushpa 2 benefit show at Sandhya Theater, shocking the state. In response, Telangana's cinematography minister, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, announced that no film will be allowed to hold benefit shows in the future. He raised concerns about potential law and order problems, especially in crowded areas.

The Minister also expressed condolences to the affected family and called for stricter regulations to prevent similar incidents.

He stated, “I hear the film is making huge revenues. I ask the film unit to compensate the deceased family with 25 lakh rupees. They should support them during this time.”

The stampede happened when fans gathered at Sandhya Theater in Hyderabad for the premiere of Pushpa 2: The Rule, directed by Sukumar and starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna.

The police have registered a case against Allu Arjun and the Sandhya theater management. The Human Rights Commission has also received a complaint regarding the incident.
