Anil Ravipudi is set to release his much-anticipated film, Sankranthiki Vasthunnam, on January 14, 2025. Amid the promotions, the spotlight has shifted to rumors involving Thalapathy Vijay and a potential collaboration with Anil for the Tamil remake of Bhagavanth Kesari.

During a promotional event, actor VTV Ganesh sparked buzz by mentioning that Thalapathy 69 is a remake of Bhagavanth Kesari. However, reports suggest that Anil Ravipudi declined an opportunity to direct Vijay in the remake.

Addressing the chatter, Anil shared that while he had discussions with Vijay, the nature of their conversation was different, leaving the confirmation of whether Thalapathy 69 is a remake to the project’s team.

Speculations are rife that Anil might be planning to enter the Tamil industry with a fresh script in the future, rather than through a remake. An official announcement on Thalapathy69 is expected to be out soon.
