Panchayat is one of the most popular and successful web series in the Indian OTT space. The series had three successful seasons so far. Now, it has been remade into Telugu as Sivarapalli with Rag Mayur playing the lead role. The trailer of this series was premiered yesterday.

Going by the trailer, it looks like makers have managed to successfully bring the flavour and authenticity of Panchyat. Rag Mayur of Cinema Bandi fame looks a perfect fit. The trailer stays true to the landscape and lifestyle of rural Telangana. On the whole, it gives a positive vibes and we have to see if it becomes as successful as its original version.

Sivarapalli features Muralidhar Goud, Rupa Lakshmi, Uday Gurrala, Sunny Palle and Pavani Karanam in other key roles. Bhaskhar Maurya directed the project. TVF backed it while Arunabh Kumar and Deepak Kumar Mishra served as creators. Shanmukha Prasanth worked as the writer for the Telugu version. Sivarapalli will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on January 24.
