The most-awaited Coldplay concert in Ahmedabad happened at a grand scale in the presence of more than 1,30,000 fans. It was no less than a visual spectacle where Chris Martin and his band members performed their super hit tracks like Yellow, The Scientist, and Viva La Vida live. It turned out to be not only the biggest concert in India but one of the most attended musical concerts in Asia in the 21st century.
Meanwhile, lead singer Chris Martin entertained the Indian fans by jokingly saying that Coldplay belongs to India. He said that he and his band members are from different parts of the country. Chris said that Guy Berryman, Chris said that he might look like he is from Scotland but he is from Tamil Nadu. He then added, "Everyone knows that I am from Telangana."
Calling Will Champion a Gujarati, Chris said, "Please welcome all the way from Ahmedabad, 100% Gujarati, on the drums and everything else. In many ways, Will Champion is the leader of our band, the person who keeps us together, the lovely, incredibly bright, beautiful, and scary Will Champion."
People of Telangana are overwhelmed to see Chris Martin saying that he is from the state of Telugu and trending the clip all over on social media. They hoped that Coldplay would perform in Hyderabad too in the future.
