Rajeev Kanakala: He is the striking element in the film. Rajeev Kanakala’s portrayal of an aspiring MLA was perfectly suited to the bill and he showcased his best on screen with this role.
Sushma: Sushma as a debut actress gave her cent percent for the role. However, her screen presence was limited to the shorter span as per the script.
Sathya: Comedian Sathya got a meaty role in this film and he utilized this rare opportunity to the fullest.
Analysis:
Writer-Director Mahesh Upputuri tried his best to recreate the 1980’s backdrop on the silver screen. At the same time, he intelligently included the political scenarios of 1983 through the key scenes in the flick.
The writing part turns successful in establishing the relationship scenes between Mohan-Chalapathi & Mohan-Indira. However, the director fails in convincing the audience especially in the misunderstanding scenes between Mohan & Chalapathi and it automatically loosens the grip in the second half.
Coming to the dialogues part, Kittu Vissupragada’s dialogues have the great scope to entertain the audience and his dialogues were full of entertainment and apt to the script. Production values from Gagan Magical Frames were grand.
Plus Points:
+ Siva Balaji
+ Rajeev Kanakala
+ Kittu Vissupragada’s Dialogues
Minus Points:
- Songs
- Routine Story
Final Verdict:
Snehamera Jeevitham, One-time watch.
