Naga Shaurya is touted as one of the most promising heroes in the Telugu film industry and his work in films also seconds the statement. After bagging the huge success in the form of Chalo movie, he is coming now with a film called @ Nartanasala under the direction of a debutant named Srinivas Chakravarthi.

Well, @ Nartanasala movie grabbed huge attention and also a bit of controversy due to its title resemblance with yesteryear classic film Nartanasala. However, Naga Shaurya addressed all these controversies well before the release and gave assurance to everyone about the content in the film.

On this note, we will discuss the story, performances, and all other details of @ Nartanasala in the following @ Nartanasala review.

Story:

Naga Shaurya raises by his parents like a girl as they adamantly wanted to have a girl child. With this kind of treatment, he develops a soft corner towards women and establishes a self-defence training school for women to increase their confidence.

At this juncture, Naga Shaurya happens to meet Manasa (Kashmira) and falls in love with her. There comes a twist in the story which it makes Naga Shaurya act like a Gay in the movie.

What is the reason behind Naga Shaurya to act like a gay? Did he solve the problem by acting like a gay? These questions unfold on the silver screen.

Actors & Performances:

Naga Shaurya: He perfectly played his part in the movie and especially his acting in the Gay role will get an appreciation from the audience.

Kashmira is good and beautiful. Yamini Bhaskar sizzled in one hot beach song.

Ajay played an interesting role in the movie and it brings entertainment in the second half. Sivaji Raja, Satyam Rajesh & Jayaprakash Reddy Played their parts in the movie.

Analysis:

Writer-director Srinivas Chakravarthi took a risky step by penning a film that revolves around Gay comedy and he even convinced a young hero to play the lead role in the movie.

As the promos give hint about the Gay concept in the film, the audience expects so much fun from this film. However, Srinivas Chakravarthi fails in creating enough entertainment in the movie. The first half of the film lacks entertainment and there are few comedy scenes in the second half where Naga Shaurya plays the Gay role.

Despite having some hilarious scenes between Naga Shaurya & Ajay, the total film lacks the much-needed comedy for this kind of subject. If he would have written the scenes with more entertainment quotient then it may get the appreciation from the audience.

Technical Aspects:

Music from Mahati Swara Sagar is mediocre and the Cinematography is so good as the film looks in a rich fashion.

Plus Points:

+ Title
+ Gay Characterization
+ Ajay

Minus Points:

- Less Entertainment
- Weak Screenplay

Final Verdict: @ Nartanasala- Half Entertainment.
