24 Kisses- this movie has been on the headlines from quite some time due to its title. Well, the pre-release buzz of this movie went onto a new high and resulted in a serious debate on a news channel.

On the other side, 24 Kisses movie has come under the scanner of the audience as its director is a National Award winning film director – Ayodhya Kumar. In addition to these, the interesting chemistry between Hebah Patel & Adith Arun in teasers also grabbed the eyeballs of the film lovers.

At this juncture, 24 Kisses movie would live up to the expectations of the audiences or not is discussed below in the 24 Kisses review.

Story:

Anand (Adith Arun) is a filmmaker who makes films on children issues met with a budding film aspirant Sri Lakshmi (Hebah Patel). This meeting turns out as a liking towards each other.

However, Anand who is a commitment phobia wants to keep their relation without any commitments. Well, Sri Lakshmi thinks opposite to him. As the story moves beyond a point, both get separated due to their opposite views on the relationship.

Whether Anand & Sri Lakshmi unites again or not is revealed on the silver screen.

Actors & Performances:

Adith Arun & Hebah Patel’s pair performance on screen is good. Even though the story & screenplay is not at all appealing, these both tried to carry the story on their shoulders.

Once again Rao Ramesh grabs the attention of the audience with his performances as a Therapist.

Analysis:

Writer-Director Ayodhya Kumar who is known for his commendable work like Minugurulu movie is failed to prove his mettle as a good technician with 24 Kisses.

We would get this feeling as he mainly concentrated over the kisses concept and overlooked the story & screenplay of the film. As he mainly focused on the Kisses part, the required emotions in the screenplay have derailed as the story goes on.

Even the second half also lacks the clarity in the screenplay and also he fails to convince the audience regarding the reasons behind Anand’s commitment phobia. Finally, some of the Kisses in 24 kisses lacks the romantic feeling which tested the audience patience in theaters.

Technical Aspects:

Music from Joi Barua is good. The Cinematography of Uday Gurrala is decent at places. Ayodhya Kumar’s screenplay lacks the emotion & strength to hold the audience attention.

Plus Points:

+ Arun Adith & Hebah’s Performances

Minus Points:

-Story
-Screenplay
-Lack Of Emotions

Final Verdict:

24 Kisses- Kisses Missed The Target.
