Performances:
Shahrukh Khan is an absolute delight to watch. He never fails to amaze the audience with his outstanding performances. He once again proved that he is undoubtedly one of the finest actors in Bollywood. He has delivered a spellbinding performance in the film.

Anushka Sharma looked entirely different in this film, but she will grab the attention of the audience with her stupendous performance. She has lived the character mesmerizingly well. Katrina Kaif is undoubtedly is the show stealer. She not only looked gorgeous and beautiful in the film but the way she acted is also terrific. She delivered an excellent performance which will strike the chord with the audience.

Abhay Deol delivered an honest performance in the film. R Madhavan justified his role with his impressive performance. Tigmanshu Dhulia had a decent screen presence. Sheeba Chaddha acted well. The rest of the cast also made their presence felt.

Technical Aspects:
The production values of Red Chillies Entertainment and Colour Yellow productions are rich and lavish. The music by Ajay-Atul is excellent. The songs have already impressed the audience, and even the background score elevated the scenes perfectly well. Cinematography by Manu Anand is fantastic. He produced some sleek visuals which will grab the attention. Hemal Kothari's editing is clean and neat. The runtime is bearable. Overall, the technical team has worked hard and did a great job.

Positive Aspects:
Outstanding performances
Entertainment in the first half

Negative Aspects:
Bland Execution
Logics Missing
Boring Second Half

Analysis:
Himanshu Sharma has delivered a mind-blowing story for the film. It is a perfect blend of comedy, romance, emotions, heartbreaks, etc. But, the way it was executed is completely disappointing. The film will give an emotional rollercoaster ride but then leaves you with a disappointment too. There are a lot of boring scenes in the movie to which the audiences fail to have an emotional connection. The film has clumsy writing and editing, especially in the second half. The first half is fun and entertaining with some comedy and romance. But the second half and fails to grab the attention. There are so many scenes which will test the patience. There are some things which the director fails to explain or might have left it to our thinking. The logic is missing in most of the scenes. It would have been much better if the writer had also thought about the logical narrative. Despite, its flaws, the honest performances of the actors will impress the audience.

Final Verdict: 'Zero' is a one time watch only if you are a big fan of SRK.
