Vijay Devarakonda already announced that World Famous Lover is his last love story, in his career. The sensational actor is now back with an interesting story that has four heroines Raashi Khanna, Catherine Tresa, Izabelle Leite, and Aishwarya Rajesh. Kranthi Madhav who scored a big hit with Malli Malli Idi Rani Roju is the director of the movie. The film released today and here is our review of the movie.
Story:
Gautham (Vijay Devarakonda) loves Yamini at first sight and starts living together with her. As years pass by, Gautham decides to quit the job to follow his passion as a writer. Surprisingly, he goes nowhere in writing which disappoints Yamini and she points out more reasons for how Gautham is not right in life. She calls for a quit in the relationship. It just shakes up the world of Gautham and what he did then is the story of the movie.
Performances:
Vijay Devarakonda got an interesting role in this film and his outstanding performance is definitely one of the biggest plus points for this film. Rashi Khanna acted naturally in the film and her performance sure added more strength to the film. Aishwarya Rajesh also got a meaty role in this film and her screen presence definitely will impress the audience. Catherine Tresa looked beautiful in the film and also justified her role. Isabelle Leite also gave her 100% in essaying her role. Jaya Prakash and Priyadarshi also made their presence felt.
Technical Aspects:
Director Kranthi Madhav took an interesting plotline and laced it up with entertainment. Despite having four different stories, he has narrated in an engaging way. His pace of narration is also good and we can say that the director will also get some extra brownie points for his way of story execution.
Production values by KA Vallabha and KS Rama Rao under Creative Commercials banner are superb and became one of the plus points of this film. Music by Gopi Sundar is just average. The songs, as well as the BGM, worked out really well for the film. Cinematographer Jaya Krishna came up with some beautiful and bright visuals for the film. Editing by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao is neat.
Review:
Having a solid story became the biggest plus point for this movie. The entire story revolves around Vijay Devarakonda and his way of proving love to his girl Yamini, played by Raashi Khanna. The story that the director picked is not told well because of the too many dimensions that the director added to the movie. We can say that each love story has its own beauty and are easily relatable to the audience. The youth can really enjoy watching the film.
The comedy in the first half is also really good and will bring some good laughs in the theatres. The second half is somewhat serious when compared to the first half but the second half also has some slow scenes which will test the patience of the audience. Keeping the emotional scenes aside, the film has nothing great to appreciate, except for the performances of the lead actors.
Plus Points:
Performances
Story
Dialogues
Plot Point
Minus Points:
Dragged Screenplay
Boring scenes
Final Verdict: World Famous Lover lacks real love.
