Hero Srikanth's son Rosshan made his acting debut with the 2016 film Nirmala Convent. He is now back after a long time with Pelli SandaD. Directed by Gowri Ronanki, this movie features Sree Leela as the female lead. Pelli SandaD has hit the screens today and here is the review of it.

Story:
Vashista's (Rosshan) aims for love marriage. He wants to fall in love with a girl and then marry her. In the process, he falls for Sahasra (Sree Leela) when he visits his brother's marriage. Over the course of time, even Sahasra falls for Vashista. When everything seems to be going well, their love faces an obstacle. What is that obstacle? How did they face it and get married? forms the main crux of the movie.

Performances:
Rosshan looks handsome and he performed well too. He looks young to be a lead hero but he has a long way to go. If he chooses contemporary scripts, there is no doubt in saying that he will be a star in the future. Sree Leela looks gorgeous and acted well too.

The film features various prominent actors like Prakash Raj, Rao Ramesh, Tanikella Bharani, and Raghu Babu. Everyone performed within their limitations and there is nothing exemplary to talk about their characters.

Technical Aspects:
Gowri Ronanki tried to impress with her writing in some of the scenes. But it fell flat most of the time. One would feel like watching an old 90s family drama throughout the runtime of this movie.

The camera work by Sunil Kumar Nama is good. The visuals in songs are very beautiful. Music by MM Keeravani is decent. The production values are great. Artwork needs to be appreciated too. Editing could've been better though.

Review:
The major drawback of Pelli SandaD is its story. It's outdated and has nothing new to offer. The creativity is seen only in rehashing the title and nowhere else. There are many unnecessary scenes in the movie that have no connection with the story. Even the comedy sequences look forced.

The story had a scope of adding good comical and emotional elements. But the stereotypical narration makes this movie a bland watch. The makers completely failed in executing their idea well. Most of the scenes also look unrealistic. On the whole, Pelli SandaD neither entertains nor emotionally engages the audience. A complete misfire.

Plus Points:
Lead pair's chemistry
A few comedy scenes

Minus Points:
Outdated story
Stereotypical screenplay
Too melodramatic
Editing

Final Verdict: No 'Sandadi' at all
