Naga Shourya who recently came up with 'Ashwathama' is all set to test his luck with a romantic comedy entertainer this time. Titled as 'Varudu Kavalenu', Ritu Varma played the female lead in the film. Directed by Lakshmi Sowjanya, Murali Sharma, Nadiya, Jayaprakash, Vennela Kishore, etc played key roles in the film. The teaser and trailer of the film have already received a decent response from the audience. Amid high expectations, the film finally made its way into the theatres today on October 29th, 2021. Here is the review of the film.

Story:
Aakash (Naga Shourya) and Bhoomi (Ritu Varma) are college mates in the Manipal Institute of Science and Technology. Bhoomi loves him but was unable to express her love. They part their ways after their education and Bhoomi transforms into an authoritative lady and also runs a startup company in Hyderabad. Though there was no communication between them, one day Aakash suddenly comes into her life again and they both work together on an architectural project. This time Aakash falls in love with her but hesitates to propose. What happens later forms the rest of the story.

Performances:
Naga Shourya's outstanding performance in the film is an eye feast to watch. He looked handsome and also carried his character in a beautiful way. Ritu Varma looked beautiful on the screens. Her body language fits well with her character and she has delivered an amazing performance in the film. This fabulous chemistry is definitely one of the biggest plus points for this film. Nadiya delivered an honest performance in the film. Murali Sharma is good in his role. Vennela Kishore, Praveen, and Saptagiri's comedy worked pretty well and will bring laughter to the theatres. The rest of the actors also made their presence felt.

Technical Aspects:
The film has a very simple story and runs on a lighter note. Bhoomi (Ritu Varma)'s character is developed interestingly. Despite being a debutante director, Lakshmi Sowjanya handled the script really well and the woman audience will definitely connect well with the storyline as well as Bhoomi's character. Music by Vishal Chandrasekhar is too good. Especially the songs are well placed and impressive. Production values by Sithara Entertainments are decent. The cinematography by Patchipulusu Vamsi is impressive. Editing by Naveen Nooli is good.

Plus Points:
Performances
Story Line
Music
Dialogues

Minus Points:
Slow Pace
Predictable Climax

Review:
'Varudu Kaavalenu' is a complete family-oriented drama film laced with beautiful performances, comedy, and music. The family audience and youngsters will really enjoy watching the film. When compared to the second half, the first half of adequate entertainment will engage the audience throughout the film. The lack of a strong conflict and slow narration will be a huge letdown for the flick. However, the fresh scenes and dialogues are quite impressive. Despite having some drawbacks, 'Varudu Kavalenu' is an entertaining film with a predictable climax.

Final Verdict: Varudu Kavalenu is a Refreshing Romantic Comedy Worth Watching!
