Young Tamil actor Siva Karthikeyan is one of the most talented actors in Kollywood. He is also currently enjoying decent popularity in Telugu. Very soon, he will be making his debut in Tollywood with an interesting film. Billed to be an action comedy drama, the film was released today in theatres. Priyanka Arul Mohan is playing the film's leading lady and SJ Suryah played the lead antagonist in the movie.


Story:
The story of Don revolves around a college. Don (Sivakarthikeyan) is a college-going student who grows up hearing about the importance of education. However, he does not show interest in education. He grows up like that and when he joins college, he becomes troublesome to the college principal (SJ Suryah). At this juncture, his friend's death changes his course of life. His life takes a huge turn and what is it? What did he do then? What happens in the end? Forms the story of the film.


Performances:
Sivakarthikeyan is undoubtedly one of the most talented actors in Tamil. He is a bundle of talent that we should all watch out for. The actor carries the film on his shoulders. The actor is extremely good in the college scenes and handled the emotional scenes so well. Samuthirakhani as Sivakarthikeyan's father is impressive.


He displayed a great performance in the movie and SJ Suryah is a treat to watch in the film. The popular actor is extremely good in every scene that he acted in. Both SK and SJ gave their best. Priyanka Arul Mohan is good with looks and performance. Her chemistry with SK is too good. The rest of the cast Bala Saravanan, Mirchi Vijay, Sivaangi, and others made their presence felt.


Technical Aspects:
Anirudh Ravichander is the film's music director and he has given his best for the movie. Anirudh elevated the emotional scenes perfectly.


KM Bhaskaran is the film's cinematographer and the film looks rich and grand. The visuals are rich and grand. The film's editing is crisp and has put the film at a good pace. The production values are lavish and the director has got the right support from the producers.


Verdict:
Cibi Chakaravarthi is the film's director. The director started the film with a conviction and it has paid off. The conviction with which he carried the film is perfectly good. Despite the film having a formulaic treatment, the film's director has come up with interesting elements.


Also, the makers added enough commercial elements to it and made it an engaging as well as an entertaining watch. Anyone who watches the film will find an emotional connection with the movie and will see themselves on the screen for one or the other aspect of the film.
