2019 released 'F2: Fun and Frustration' featuring Venkatesh, Varun Tej, Tamannah and Mehareem Pirzada in the lead roles turned out to be the biggest blockbuster for Sankranti. Touted to be the much-awaited sequel of the film, 'F3' featuring the same lead cast finally got released. Directed by Anil Ravipudi, the makers have been increasing the expectations on the movie by claiming that the film will have 10 times more fun than its prequel. After getting postponed multiple times, the film finally made it into theatres today on May 27, 2022. Let?s check out the review of the movie and find out if the movie has lived up to the expectations or not..

Story:
Venky (Venkatesh) and Varun Yadav (Varun Tej) are two normal guys living very ordinary lives. Vexed up with their middle-class lives, they always struggle to earn more money. One day they come to know that a wealthy industrialist (Murali Sharma) in Vijayanagaram is looking for his heir. Considering this as a golden opportunity, both Venky and Varun approach him pretending to be his heirs. How do their lives change after this? Did they get the money they always wanted? what happened in the end? Forms the rest of the story.

Performances:
Victory Venkatesh can be considered as the biggest asset of the film. The actor who is well known for his outstanding comedy timing has given the audience another hilarious ride with this film as well. When compared to 'F2', Varun Tej got more ease in comedy and he has acted effortlessly well in his role. His body language also created a good impact.

Tamannah and Mehareen impressed the audience with their glamour as well as acting. Their comedy also worked out well for the film. After a long time, Sunil finally appeared in a hilarious role and it will be an eye feast for the fans. Ali also got a unique role in this film and will give some laughs to the audience. Rajendra Prasad appeared as an honest police officer and impressed with his performance. The rest of the actors also made their presence felt.

Technical Aspects:
Despite being the much-awaited sequel of F2, 'F3' has a different storyline and it?s not a continuation of 'F2'. Just like most of Anil Ravipudi's films, F3 also works purely on entertainment without a strong storyline. The film has a very thin plot line but Anil Ravipudi made a decent film filled with entertainment.

However, his narration became uneven in some parts of the film. Devi Sri Prasad's music is decent and his bgm is good. Cinematographer Sai Sri Ram has delivered some beautiful and colorful visuals for the film. Tammiraju'd editing is clean and neat. The writing is also good in most of the parts.

Verdict:
The movie started off quite well and the entire first half is a hilarious ride for the audience. However, things get somewhat slow in the second half. Some of the repetitive comedy scenes became a minus point for the film. Though some of the comedy blocks worked out really well for the film, a few comedy blocks also failed to impress the audience and fell flat.

The director has added night blindness for Venky's character and stammering for Varun's roles and the comedy generated based on this will be hilarious. The subplot of Rajendra Prasad also worked out well. The over-the-top comedy in the second half is the biggest drawback. Overall, "F3" is a decent entertainer if we forget some logic.

Plus Points:
Performances
Comedy
Second Half
Direction

Minus Points:
Few boring scenes in the second half
not-so-impressive audio album

Final Verdict: F3 = 3*Fun
