The very talented filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj as the director, Prabhu Deva as the main lead the movie MERCURY hits the screens today. This movie is a suspense thriller and runs on Pondicherry backdrop. With good pre-release talk, the movie has good reports too. Read on for the full review.

Story Line:
The main concept of the movie is about Mercury Poisoning. Five friends who have to talk and hearing disability reunite after many years. While on a road ride, they kill a person accidentally. To cover up their mistake, they take the dead body to an abandoned place and bury him. This place happens to be the same place where the Mercury Poisoning had occurred years earlier.

These friends get trapped in the abandoned space. All of them get killed one by one. Who is that mysterious person involved in the killings, what is the history of the abandoned place, how is Prabhu Deva related to these five members is to be watched in the theaters only.

Roles and Performances:
Prabhu Deva's outstanding performances remind us of the roles like Aparichithudu, Sivaputhrudu etc. So real and rustic. His action is one of the biggest pluses.
Other actors performed their roles well.

Analysis:
This is one of the very distinct stories. A good attempt at keeping the attention of the audience. Karthik Subbaraj definitely knows how to tell a story. Prabhu Deva's action is just mindblowing. A good attempt with gripping screenplay and concept.

Technical Aspects:
Content is good. With an engaging screenplay, the movie impresses the audience. The cinematography is really good. The camera angles are very different and appealing to the story narration. Music and bgm go in hand with the story.

Final Verdict: A good attempt. An engaging concept with engaging narration and appealing action.
