Spy thrillers and the secret services based concept films are very much rare on our Indian silver screen as they are slightly different to our audience taste. However, Adivi Sesh has come up with a secret agent backdrop story in the form of Goodachari.
He is already having a decent name as a scriptwriter in the market as his previous script Kshanam proved to be one of the best stories in Telugu cinema history. At this juncture, being tagged as a good scriptwriter on his back, whether Adivi Sesh will be able to repeat his hit streak with Goodachari or not is discussed below in the Goodachari review.
Story:
Adivi Sesh (Gopi) loses his father (secret service agent in Trinethra) in a secret operation and to keep away from the terrorists’ eye, he is being shifted to Rajahmundry along with his uncle (Prakash Raj) by giving a new identity. Well, after losing his father as a child, he always dreams to be a part of the national security agency as he loves to be like his father someday.
Well, his trials of joining the national security agencies turn successful or not unfolds on the silver screen.
Actors & Performances:
Adivi Sesh: He is an absolute gem as an actor, writer in the movie. He perfectly suited to the bill of a secret agent and his body language is also makes us believe as he is a real agent. His hard work will be clearly seen on the silver screen as he portrays the role with such an ease.
Sobhita Dhulipalla: Her debut Telugu film has given her the chance to showcase her glamour & performance at the same time and she succeeded in presenting both in her own way.
Supriya Yarlagadda: She portrayed the role of an angry & focus officer in Trinethra and she had a great comeback to the silver screen with this flick.
Anish Kuruvilla, Vennela Kishore, Madhushalini played their roles perfectly.
Analysis:
We can say Adivi Sesh’s dream of doing a secret agent film is came true with this film and also he would become successful as the audience are clearly showing their love and affection towards this film. Well, their expectations would be fulfilled as Adivi Sesh came up with a super product in the form of Goodachari.
Coming to the script, he made sure that every dot is connected with each other in the story. His Goodachari script has every necessary ingredient to becoming an edge of seat thriller and roping director Sashikiran Tikka in the preparations of the script turned out as fruitful.
The combo of Director-Writer worked very well for this movie as these both gave their best in making this film look believable to the audience. Especially when it comes to the concepts of Trinetra, Chittagong based terrorist group, the structure of secret services agencies in India are very well etched on the silver screen.
The twits & turns are the much-needed things in a script like this and Goodachari have loads of twists and turns. They also took extra care in finding the right cast for the roles and their performances pushed the bar of the film to a new high.
Last but not least, this film is stylish, sleek and striking. Definitely, it will remain as a bond film of Telugu cinema.
Technical Aspects:
The Cinematography of Shaniel Deo is outstanding. He did a fantastic job in framings as we will be mesmerized by visuals. BGM from Sricharan Pakala made us be in the mood of the film and it is one among the highlights of the film. Production vlues from Abhishek Pictures are grand.
Plus Points:
+ Performances
+ Pacy Screenplay
+ Climax

Final Verdict: Goodachari is a classy attempt and especially it is a Telugu bond movie.
