Payal Rajput who was shot to fame with the movie RX100 has come up with an exciting film titled RDX Love. The film is directed by Shankar Bhanu and it released today. Tejus Kancherla played the lead in the movie. Check out the review of the film here.
Story:
Alivelu(Payal Rajput) lives in a village and tries to promote government welfare schemes. She wants to meet the chief minister of the state and tries to get an appointment. For this, she tries to take advantage of the hero (Tejas) and get an appointment to meet the CM. Who is Alivelu? Why does she want to meet the CM? Did she succeed in reaching her goal? Forms the rest of the story.
Performances:
Hot beauty Payal Rajput not only proves that she can act well in glamorous roles but can also pull off performance-oriented roles with the same ease and elegance. Especially, during the action sequences, Payal carried her role with so much energy. Tejus Kancherla delivered an honest performance in the movie. The chemistry between Tejus and Payal Rajput is an absolute delight to watch. V.K.Naresh got an interesting role in the movie. He will definitely impress the audience with his performance. Nagineedu and Aditya Menon's energetic performance in the movie became a big plus point. Tulasi also justified her role. Aamani, Mumaith Khan and Vidyullekha Raman acted really well. The rest of the actors also made their presence felt.
Technical Aspects:
Director Shankar Bhanu prepared an interesting concept for the film but only focussed on the commercial elements in the film. Though he tried to blend in all elements such as romance, comedy or action sequences, Shankar Bhanu failed to highlight what he wanted to make in the movie. There are some visible flaws in his taking and his handling of the script made it more annoying.
Production values by C Kalyan under Happy Movies Banner are decent. Radhan has composed some beautiful tunes for the movie. Some of the catchy tunes will impress the audience. Dialogues by Parasuram are worth appreciating. His impactful dialogues became the biggest asset for the movie. Cinematographer C Ram Prasad has produced bright visuals for the movie. The editing is good.
Verdict:
The entire story revolves around a small village and the people in it. The director has failed in narrating the story well. The entire first half is extremely slow and except for the main plotline, the director has focussed only on other elements that majorly ruins the film. A few comedy scenes and romantic scenes are cringy. The interval block is just average. The second half is also slow and none of the scenes makes much sense. There will be some scenes that will definitely test the patience of the audience.
It would have been good if the director has concentrated more on story development. Performances and some comedy, as well as romantic scenes in the movie, can be considered as the plus points. Also, the climax part is really good The predictable story will be the minus point of the movie. Overall, 'RDX Love' cannot be watched more than once.
Plus Points:
Performances
Comedy
Cinematography
Minus Points:
Predictable Plot
Routine Execution
Final Verdict: RDX Love is a Boring and Lengthy Drama
