Story:
Ashwin (Ashwin Babu) is an auto driver who becomes a nuisance for the people in the colony he lives. On the other hand, whoever proposes to Maya (Avika Gor) face so many problems by the evil spirits. Realising it, the colony people decides to make Ashwin fall in love with her and propose to her. Ashwin also proposes to her but he gets haunted by the evil spirits and his life turns upside down.
Who is Maya? Why evil spirit torture those people? Can Ashwin survive? What happened in the end forms the crux of the story.
Performances:
Ashwin Babu got a different kind of role when compared to the previous versions of 'Raju Gari Gadhi' franchise. However, the actor has pulled it off very well and his outstanding performance has become a major highlight of this film. Avika Gor is a show-stealer. Her performance is truly an asset to this movie.
Be it the romantic scenes or the emotional sequences or the horror scenes, Avika Gor has delivered her career-best performance in this movie. Ali is too good in his role. Ajay Ghosh's energetic performance will impress the audience. Brahmaji has delivered an honest performance in the movie.
Urvashi acted naturally in the movie. Hariteja and Dhanraj's comedy timing is superb and will definitely lighten the mood of the film. The rest of the actors also delivered decent performances in the movie.
Technical Aspects:
Director Ohmkar is known for making horror comedies. Just like the previous two installments of the 'Raju Gari Gadhi' franchise, he has succeeded in impressing the audience with his third installment as well. When compared to the previous two versions, the horror elements in this movie got increased but the comedy timing will also impress the audience.
Production values by Oak Entertainments banner are lavish. Music by Shabir is really good. A couple of songs and his background score is outstanding. Chota K Naidu has produced some bright visuals for the movie. Editing by Goutham Raju is clean and neat. Dialogues by Sai Madhav Burra are too good.
Review:
The art team should definitely get appreciated for their hard work in bringing out the best set work for the film. The first half will give us a laugh riot for the audience and most of the comedy scenes worked out really well for the movie. The second half gets into the thriller mood but except for a few scenes, none of the horror sequences succeeded in sending the chills down the spine for the audience.
Owing to the fact that the movie is a horror-comedy, we can say that the director has justified the genre with a funny first half and a mediocre second half. Performances, background score, and cinematography can be considered as the plus points of this movie. There are some boring scenes in the second half which will be the minus points. On the whole, 'Raju Gari Gadhi 3' is a one time watch for the audience.
Plus Points:
Performances
Comedy
Visuals
BGM
Minus Points:
Horror Scenes
Weak story
Final verdict: 'Raju Gari Gadhi 3' is a timepass movie and can be watched once.
