Story:
Karthik (Naga Chaitanya)'s parents dies in an accident and his mother's brother Venkataratnam Naidu (Venkatesh) takes the responsibility of him and raises him like his own son. Karthik also loves his uncle so much but Venky's father Ram Narayan (Nassar) doesn't like Karthik as he is born with Sri Krishna Amsa in his horoscope. One day, Karthik joins the Army without taking the consent of Venky. So, Venky goes in search of his nephew? Why Karthik joined the Army? Parallel love tracks of both Venky and Karthik with Vennela (Payal Rajput) and Harika (Rashi Khanna) forms the rest of the story.

Performances:
Victory Venkatesh's outstanding performance added more strength for the movie. Especially his comedy timing never fails to impress the audience, and Venky will grab the attention with his performance in the emotional scenes also in this movie. Naga Chaitanya did his best in giving competition to Venkatesh. Especially, his performance in the comedy scenes worked out really well for the film.

Rashi Khanna looked absolutely stunning in the film and also impressed with her performance. Payal Rajput also delivered a refreshing performance in the movie. Prakash Raj's performance is too good. Rao Ramesh and Posani Krishna Murali acted naturally in the movie. Sampath Raj, Parag Tyagi also delivered decent performances in the film.

Technical Aspects:
Director KS Ravindra has prepared an interesting plotline for the movie. Despite having two heroes the director succeed in focusing on both of them equally and induced the story with all the commercial elements and blended them very well. His pace of narration is also somewhat slow but will engage the audience.

Production values by D Suresh Babu under Suresh Productions are the major highlight of the film. Music by SS Thaman added more strength to this movie. Not only the songs but also his exceptional BGM will grab the attention of the audience. Cinematographer Prasad Murella has produced some beautiful visuals for this movie. Editing by Prawin Pudi is clean and neat.

Review:
Victory Venkatesh is the major highlight of the film. The scenes with Venky and Naga Chaitanya came out really well and will be nice to watch for the fans. The relationship between them is wonderful. The first 30 minutes of the movie itself will engage the audience and the entire first half is even more interesting and entertaining. The comedy and romantic scenes are too good to watch. The interval twist is good. The second half becomes somewhat slow when compared to the first half. However, the director has succeeded in handling it well. The military backdrop scenes in the pre-climax and climax came out well. On the whole, 'Venky Mama' is definitely a perfect family entertainer.

Plus:
Performances
Story
Venky-Chay scenes
BGM

Minus:
Few slow scenes

Final Verdict: Venky Mama is a perfect birthday treat for all the fans
