Rana Daggubati's long-delayed project 1945 is in the theatres. The film was released today and the actor has ignored the film during the promotions. Check out the film's review.

Story:
It is the time of freedom struggle in India. The story of 1945 is set in 1945 in Burma. Adi (Rana) returns to Burma to take care of his family business. He gets engaged to the local tahsildar's daughter (Regina). Around the same time, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose plans to launch INA to put a check on British forces. Slowly, the atrocities of the British go up. What did Adi do then? How did it affect him? What happens in the end? Forms the film's story.

Performances:
Rana Daggubati is extraordinary in the character he played. Be it the fight sequences or the emotional scenes, he has given his best but his dubbing seems to be done by someone else and it did not fit in the right places. Sapthagiri played a very important character in the film as Rana's friend. Nasser is good in his role as per the limitations. Regina has got a traditional role. Satyaraj is decent. The rest of the cast is okay.

Technical Aspects:
The film unit did well on the technical side. The camera work is impressive and the makers produced grand visuals. The editing is just average. The flow is not very impressive. Akula Siva is the dialogue writer for the film and the conversations are okay. The locations are good. The film's production values are not up to the mark.

Review:
The film lacks a proper screenplay. The film's plot is designed well but the screenplay is a big letdown. The screenplay has gone wrong completely. The visuals and the production design are excellent. But, the narration is weak. The film is weak on many notes. The film is a patriotic drama but then there is no proper emotion in the film. The conflict of the film is also weak and looked forced. The revolt of Rana is also illogical. Even the climax looks forced and hardly makes any impression. On the whole, 1945 is a weak patriotic drama that lacks the basic emotion. At the same time, the film fails to create basic interest among the audience. There are no impressive elements that could please the audience. Just like Rana, the audience can ignore the film too!

Plus Points:
Rana's presence
Action scenes
Basic Plot

Minus Points:
Screenplay
Weak Narration

Final Verdict: Rana ignored the film and that says it all!
